Millet is a third generation Schenectadian who currently lives there .Her work has been exhibited extensively in group shows in the Capital District of NY. She will be in the following shows in October 2026: Gallery 5 in Schenectady. 340 Gallery at Merriam and Pfister in Delmar, NY and Arlene’s Artist Mareriaks on Fuller Rd in Albany NY. Her jewelry collection can be viewed at Five Ravens Gallery in Schuylerville, NY and the Open Door Bookstore and Gift Gallery in  Schenectady, NY. Mary Frances holds a BS in Sociology from UAlbany and Ashford University. She also graduated from Maria Colleges program in occupational therapy. When she’s not in her studio, she teaches community art workshops. In the summer of 2025 she taught classes at the Arts Center of Yates County in the Finger Lakes, NY.
Millet media jumps between designing upcycled paper jewelry and watercolor painting.  She has learned a lot of her techniques from Karen Rosasco and is influenced by Andrew Wyeth, Charles Reid and Dean Mitchell.   She continues to learn by teaching others at Mohawk Valley Art Shoppe also in Schenectady, NY.
